25th AprilLocal firm Mullanys to provide school transport for Croxley Danes
We are delighted to announce that Croxley Danes School will be working with Watford coach hire company Mullanys to provide a daily service for students from Croxley Green to St Clement Danes during 2017-18. As part of the Funding Agreement signed by the school and the Department for Education, it was agreed that transport for these children to the temporary site would be funded in its entirety by the Education Funding Agency for the first year of the school’s operation. In year 2, when the school will be in temporary accommodation at the Baldwins Lane site in Croxley Green, Mullanys will also be providing a service on 4 days a week taking students back to St Clement Danes to make use of specialist facilities until such time as they are handed over at the permanent site. This service will also be fully funded.
Discussions with Mullanys are well advanced and the company has agreed to put together one, possibly two routes for September 2017 once the 120 strong cohort of students is decided and their addresses are available. Parents will be given more information about these routes in the summer term. We are looking forward to working with Mullanys at this exciting time for the school.
