Belonging Week 2026

Last week, our school community came together for Belonging Week—a vibrant, three-day celebration dedicated to inclusion, culture, and togetherness. The event was spearheaded by our Year 12 prefects—Dylan, Ethan, Kanyinsola, and Crystal—alongside a dedicated team of student volunteers. Throughout the three days, students and staff participated in a wide range of activities, including cultural clothing celebrations, world food fairs, and creative art competitions.

We were delighted to welcome special guest speakers and local community leaders who contributed to the week's success. Esther from KeshetUK led an engaging workshop helping students design their personal Pride identity flags. We were also joined by Reverend Ritah from St Oswald’s Church in Croxley, who spent time on campus playing giant Jenga and enjoying the summer sunshine with students.

Beyond our campus, Belonging Week provided an opportunity to support global communities. Students raised funds for Tearfund’s Toilet Twinning initiative, where for every £60 raised, the school can 'twin' one of its facilities with a community in need, providing access to clean and sanitary toilet facilities worldwide. (Donations can still be made directly via our school office or parent portal).

To mark the occasion, students also submitted artwork centered on the theme of belonging. Congratulations to all our talented participants, with a special mention to our 1st place winner, Pahal; 2nd place winner, Emilie S-F; and our runners-up, Summer A, Keilyn M, and Scarlett W.

Thank you to all staff, students, and families who contributed to making Belonging Week such an inspiring success. We are incredibly proud of our warm, inclusive school community and look forward to continuing these traditions in the future.
