Last weekend saw our new Send My Friend to School Campaign Champions for this year, Amaya and Rebecca, join campaign champions from schools across the UK to attend an inspiring and powerful residential training weekend. The girls took part in valuable high-level campaigning and public speaking training led by some of the UK’s leading campaign experts.
The Send My Friend to School campaign brings together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media in joint campaigning to demand quality education for all children across the globe, even in times of crisis.
Amaya and Rebecca passed a challenging and rigorous application and interview process to become part of this year’s cohort. Miss Wakefield, who kindly gave up her weekend to accompany the girls, said ‘We are so proud that Amaya and Rebecca want to be part of this valuable campaign to support worldwide education for all’
