Brilliant Club Success...

We are proud of our student Yousuf. S for his ‘brilliant’ article that was featured in the latest Brilliant Club magazine – The Scholar. This is a fantastic achievement to be featured in the magazine as this year they received a record number of nominations from across the entire country.

Eight students at Croxley Danes submitted assignments based on the theme: Making the most of Tourism: Discuss with reference to Sustainable Tourism Development and your chosen case study: Dubai. Our students who submitted their assignments received an equivalent of a university grade of 2:1 or 1st which is a tremendous grade to achieve given that this is in addition to their usual studies. Miss Wilding, Head of Year 11 commented “I am extremely proud of all students who completed the Scholors Program as part of The Brilliant Club. They have shown high levels of resiliance and perseverance to complete this project during a very difficult time when managing COVID restrictions. They are a credit to our school, and I hope they enjoyed the experience”

Yousuf. S assignment titled - Dubai’s Race for Excellence: Making the Most of Tourism received 77/100 which is the equivalent of a 1st if it was submitted as a University dissertation. The PhD tutor, Diana Williams commented that “Yousuf. S contributed exceptionally well during the session and produced an interesting and well written essay. I wish you every success for the future!”
