16th AprilUKMT Junior Mathematics Challenge Success
In the spring term the school participated in the national UK Mathematics Trust Junior Challenge competition. We are extremely proud of two of our Year 8 students, Kasumi F and Chloe I, who made it through to Stage 2 of the competition.
In May, both students further took part in the online Stage 2, however, the allotted day unfortunately coincided with a series of power surges which affected the ICT systems on site. Despite the disruptions they both successfully completed the challenge.
Kasumi achieved a Certificate of Qualification and Chloe was awarded a Certificate of Merit, an achievement given to the top 25% who complete Stage 2. Congratulations Kasumi and Chloe!
