Year 7 Embrace Outdoor Adventure on Bushcraft Residential
This week, our Year 7 students enjoyed an action-packed three-day residential with The Bushcraft Company, set in the beautiful surroundings of Boughton Woods, Northamptonshire.
Camping under canvas and cooking over open fires, pupils fully immersed themselves in the great outdoors, taking part in an exciting range of bushcraft and survival activities. These included camp-craft, fire lighting, wilderness cookery, shelter building, trap making, camouflage and concealment, a wild food workshop, and plenty of woodland games.
Despite a little rain, spirits remained high throughout, with students showing great teamwork, resilience, and enthusiasm every step of the way. From lighting their first fire to crafting woodland shelters, the experience provided an incredible opportunity to develop confidence and forge lasting friendships.
It was a truly unforgettable adventure – well done, Year 7, for embracing the challenge with such energy and positivity!
