Students Shine at Three Rivers and Watford School Sports Partnership Annual Awards Evening

On Monday 16th June, students from across the region gathered to celebrate their sporting achievements at the Three Rivers and Watford School Sports Partnership Annual Awards Evening, at Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth. The event recognised the outstanding contributions of young athletes and leaders from 39 schools within the Partnership.

We are thrilled to announce that five of our students were nominated for awards in various categories, showcasing their commitment to school sport and leadership. The nominees included:

  • Oyda A (Year 9) – Nominated for two awards: Contribution to School Sport and Young Official of the Year

  • Summer E (Year 10) – Exceptional Performer

  • Jessie L (Year 9) – Sports Leader of the Year

  • Grace S (Year 12) – Sports Leader of the Year

  • Cassidy W (Year 9) – Sports Leader of the Year

  • Bella M (Year 9) – Young Official of the Year

We are delighted to report that Oyda A was awarded the Contribution to School Sport trophy, a testament to her dedication and hard work in promoting sport within our school community. In addition, Cassidy W secured a well-deserved third place in the Sports Leader of the Year category, recognising her outstanding leadership skills and contributions to sporting activities.

The evening was a wonderful celebration, with all our nominees having their moment in the spotlight and receiving the recognition they truly deserve. It was an inspiring night for both students and staff, showcasing the exceptional talent and commitment of our young sports leaders.

We are incredibly proud of all our nominees and their achievements, and we look forward to seeing them continue to shine in the world of school sport.
