Building plans to be revealed

We are delighted to be able to announce that, after a long summer of meetings, the chosen contractor who will build our new school has finally been determined. Superb designs for the school have been put forward, a taster of which you can see in the image above.

The Education and Skills Funding Agency, in partnership with Croxley Danes School, have announced details of their forthcoming public consultation on the emerging planning application proposals. The purpose of the exhibition is to inform and seek the views of local residents, parents and community groups, ahead of submitting the planning application.

The public consultation is taking place on:

Monday 2nd October 2017 12noon - 5.30pm

and

Tuesday 3rd October 2017 4.00pm – 8.00pm

at

the Croxley Green Baptist Church, 225 Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green, WD3 3LH.

Dr Josephine Valentine, Executive Headteacher of Croxley Danes School, said:

“We are delighted to be sharing our plans to provide excellent accommodation for Croxley Danes School. Our proposals will deliver a high-quality school that will enhance the community in Croxley Green and provide exceptional facilities for local children.”

A spokesperson for the Education and Skills Funding Agency added:

“This project is an exciting opportunity to provide school places for local children following the model of the established and outstanding St Clement Danes School. We are looking forward to presenting our plans to local residents and hearing their feedback ahead of submitting a planning application”

A flyer advertising these public meetings can be viewed on the following page of our website where further details about the consultation will also be posted:

Those residents who live in Croxley Green and the surrounding area should also have received a copy through their letter box.

This is an exciting step forward for the school. Once the consultation has been completed, planning permission will be submitted in October and building will then start as soon as possible once it has been granted.

We are thrilled to be moving closer to having our own permanent home and look forward to sharing the plans next week.
