Students Perform at Local Diwali Event

Last Saturday, winners of our Hindu Society’s poetry competition had the wonderful opportunity to share their work at Croxley Green Parish Council’s Diwali celebration - an annual event that brings together members of the community, including several local councillors, for a fantastic celebration of culture and creativity.

Avyukt B in Year 7 and Shreya G and Maan D, Year 9 impressed the audience with their confident and powerful poetry recitations, while Pahal G in Year 8 delivered a well-considered prose reading. Adding to the festivities, Amayra G, Year 8 performed a beautiful solo dance, showcasing yet another example of the incredible talent within our school.

We’re so proud of how the students represented Croxley Danes not only through their performances, but also through their exemplary behaviour and confidence throughout the event. Well done to all our pupils who took part!
