Languages Week 2025 at Croxley Danes
Last week, Croxley Danes School marked Languages Week with a series of events and activities aimed at celebrating linguistic and cultural diversity. The week provided an opportunity for students to explore languages from around the world and to reflect on the importance of cross-cultural understanding.
Form time featured daily language-themed challenges, encouraging pupils to engage with new vocabulary and interesting cultural facts. The Languages Fair proved a popular event, giving students a chance to discover more about different countries through interactive displays, food tasting, and language-based games.
One of the highlights of the week was the Languages Week Bake Sale, which once again brought together creativity and community spirit. We are pleased to share that the bake sale raised £130 for Save the Children UK. Thank you to all who contributed by baking or purchasing on the day.
