Croxley Danes Students Join Watford Youth Panel
We are delighted to share that a group of our Year 11 and Year 12 pupils have been selected as members of the Watford Youth Panel, representing Croxley Danes School in local government.
On the evening of Tuesday 30th September, our students attended their first session with the panel, where they met the Mayor of Watford and his team. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to engage directly with local decision-makers and begin contributing to discussions on issues affecting young people in the community.
As part of their ongoing involvement, the students will continue to build on their active citizenship skills, taking what they learn from the panel and applying it to real-world contexts. This experience is especially relevant to those studying our new Politics A Level, launched this September by Mrs Richards and Mr Wilson.
We are incredibly proud of their commitment to civic engagement and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in the wider community.
