25th AprilInaugural whole school photograph takes place
Exactly a year from our first Open Evening, the whole school joined together in the Barbirolli Hall today to have a photograph taken to celebrate the opening of the school. As you can see in the video below, the students were organised with military precision into height order by the team from Gillman and Soame and then 'loaded' onto the stands. The whole event went smoothly, and ended with a rendition of Happy Birthday for Mr Thompson, organised as a surprise by the other staff. We look forward to seeing the finished results soon - a historic photograph which will be available for parents and friends to purchase and will no doubt be prominently displayed in our new building.
Congratulations to all the students who behaved fantastically well throughout. Your attitude, good humour and behaviour were all commented on by our visitors, high praise considering the number of schools they visit every year!
