Croxley Danes Celebrates Sporting Excellence at Annual Awards Evening

On Wednesday 30th April we held our first Croxley Danes Sports Awards Evening. It was a night to remember, bringing together students and staff to celebrate the outstanding sporting achievements of the past academic year. Held in a fantastic atmosphere filled with pride and applause, the event showcased the incredible talent, dedication, and team spirit that defines sport at Croxley Danes.

A huge congratulations goes to all of our award winners. Each recipient has demonstrated exceptional commitment, perseverance, and passion in their chosen sport, and they should be immensely proud of their accomplishments. Their efforts have not only contributed to their own personal development but have also played a vital role in strengthening the wider school community.

Special Awards on the Night Included:

  • Sportswoman of the Year – Ellen L 

  • Sportsman of the Year – Charlie K

  • Team of the Year – U15 Girls Football Team

  • Superstar in the Making – Summer A

The evening would not have been possible without the dedication of staff behind the scenes. Thank you to Miss Fenner, whose hard work and planning ensured the event was a success, and thanks also to Mr Wheatley and Mr Murphy for their fabulous compering throughout the evening.

We are also incredibly grateful to the Croxley Danes PTSA for not only providing refreshments on the night but also the trophies that made the event extra special.

Finally, to all of our students who commit countless hours to training, competition, and personal growth – thank you. Your passion and perseverance are the foundation of everything we celebrate, and we couldn’t be prouder of what you’ve achieved.

We look forward to seeing continued sporting success in the coming year!
