A Level results - Congratulations to our students

Today, we congratulate our students on their excellent A-level results. 72% of students achieved A* to C grades. 38% secured an A* to B grade, whilst 14% of students achieved a A*/A grade. More significantly the value added score is projected to be high, meaning the progress made by students at Croxley Danes School is significant when compared with other schools and colleges both locally and nationally.

Students with particularly impressive results include Freya Y (A* A* A, pursuing work experience before Veterinary), Lucy P (A* A A, Heading to Royal Holloway to study Film, Television and Digital Production)  and Katie G (A A A, heading to University of Leeds to Study Biochemistry). We are also incredibly proud of Year 12 student Joseph G, who sat his A-Level Mathematics a year early and achieved an outstanding A*, showcasing remarkable talent and dedication.

Mr Harris, headteacher, puts the students’ success down to their hard work and dedication, alongside a clear focus on Sixth Form outcomes throughout the last academic year by staff. Mr Harris said:

“We are incredibly proud of our students and the results they have achieved. These grades are the culmination of years of hard work, determination, and resilience. Once again, our students have shown that they can perform at the highest levels and our staff have demonstrated their ability to deliver exceptional outcomes.  Our young people leave us ready to thrive in the next stage of their lives and we wish them all the very best.”

This September, Croxley Danes Sixth Form enters an exciting new chapter, building on the strong foundations laid by its first two cohorts. With increasing numbers of students choosing to join, new subject offerings, and expanded enrichment opportunities, the sixth form is committed to providing an exceptional environment where every learner can excel. The achievements of this year’s leavers set a clear benchmark for success, with many progressing to top universities and prestigious apprenticeships. As valued alumni, they will continue to be part of Croxley Danes Sixth Form’s story, inspiring future students and contributing to a growing, ambitious and supportive community.
