Creative Arts Evening

Following the postponement of our summer Creative Arts evening, due to the extreme heat last July, we were delighted to welcome students, parents and guests to see the incredible creative talents of our students.  The evening started with a summer festival vibe outside the main hall, with some pre-show acoustic music and drama performances and refreshments, courtesy of the PTA. Guests were able to browse the fantastic student artwork from the last academic year as well as visit the ‘Come and play Ukulele’ and try their hand at the ukulele. The concert included performances from the Croxley Danes Choir, the Musical theatre group and the Croxley Danes Jazz Band. There were also performances by some very talented soloists and a reprise from the Little Shop of Horrors band - the ‘Sudden Changes’. All of those taking part were a credit to themselves, many of them performing in front of an audience for the first time. Thank you to Mr Evans and Mrs Elliott for organising the evening and to all the drama and art teachers for their work in preparing the students for the event. Well done to everyone for a spectacular evening's entertainment.
