We are very proud of our student, Lilia S in Year 11, who will be taking part in a sleep out at a train station in London to raise money for the Railway Children. The Railway Children has been fighting for children alone and at risk on the streets in India, the UK and East Africa. Their pioneering work enables them to get to street children before the streets get to them.
This is Lilia’s first charity event and has spoken of her excitement but is also feeling apprehensive for the sleep out experience. Although this is her first charity fundraiser, Lilia firmly believes this will not be her last and is looking forward to continuing her charitable work in the future.
