Nevaeh Wins Gold in International Judo Competition

Nevaeh, 7G, writes ...

Hi, my name is Nevaeh and I have been doing judo for just under 4 years. Earlier this year I won a gold medal at the Open Nationals in Kettering and became the British Champion for my age and weight group. On Saturday 22nd September I competed in a charity international competition where there were competitors from many countries including Great Britain, Holland, France and China. I was extremely nervous leading up to the competition but when it was my turn to fight I put everything I had learnt into practice to win all my fights and win gold. I think the best part of the day was when I got to stand on the 1st place podium! I am now looking forward to travelling to Holland at the end of November to represent Great Britain in my next international competition.
